Divorced and penniless after being dumped by her ex‑husband for her figure, Emma answers a “step‑mother wanted” ad and enters the powerful Castellano family. She signs a contractual marriage with don Dominic to care for his traumatized young son. As she heals herself and the child, her arrogant ex‑husband Ethan later encounters her in high‑society events and gets a bitter taste of karma.
