Gu Hanchuan, heir to Tiansheng Group, fell in love with Song Lin secretly and even broke with his father to start his own business for love. On their wedding day, Song Lin and her cousin Song Lina demanded exorbitant betrothal gifts. It turned out Song Lin had an affair with He Wuhu—Song Lina’s boyfriend—and got pregnant. The two manipulated Song Lina into confronting Gu Hanchuan to seize his assets. Just then, Gu Hong arrived with lavish gifts, exposing Gu Hanchuan’s true identity. Their scheme failed. Song Lin and He Wuhu were arrested for fraud; Song Lina was punished for intentional property damage. Gu Hanchuan and Gu Hong returned to the family business.
