Wren, a prison doctor, once rescued and raised a serpent shifter, Ronan. To save him from being harvested, she faked abandoning him. Years later, Ronan, now an S-class prisoner, recognizes her and vows revenge. After escaping, he imprisons her, but old feelings surface. When the truth emerges, his hate turns into obsessive love. He becomes a trainee officer to stay near her. A forced-love romance of identity reversal, second chances, and a love that survived eight years of misunderstanding.
