Shen Weiyang, the false princess of the Great Jin Dynasty, is framed by Shen Qinghuan, the true princess. She is sent to the northern border regions, where she endures untold humiliation. Even after returning to the palace, she is still falsely accused. Her family does not believe in her suffering; they even want to beat her to death to atone for the Empress Dowager’s death.Shen Weiyang feigns death to escape and later marries Lu Huaichuan. When her family learns the truth, they are overwhelmed with regret. However, they are kidnapped when leaving the city. To see the Empress Dowager, Shen Weiyang returns to the capital with Lu Huaichuan. Her family finally lets go and stops pestering her, but Shen Weiyang is then attacked in an assassination attempt by Shen Qinghuan. Shen Yi takes the blade for her and falls into a coma.A year later, Shen Weiyang lives a happy and fulfilling life with Lu Huaichuan in their fiefdom. Shen Yi remains trapped in a coma, unwilling to wake up. The Emperor and Empress, their hair now graying, silently convey their longing for Shen Weiyang. Meanwhile, Shen Weiyang has already embarked on a new life, completely bidding farewell to her past.
