Five years ago, college student Maya was threatened by others and reluctantly turned down Professor Zachary’s confession. Five years later, Maya is a single mother working as a secretary at Cross Industries. At a banquet, she reunites with Zachary Blackwood, who has grown into the CEO of Obsidian Group and the most powerful lord of the underworld. Still harbouring old resentment toward her, Zachary cannot suppress his lingering love for her. When Zachary learns that Eli is his son and that Maya rejected him all those years ago only under duress, he resolves to win back his lover. After overcoming countless obstacles, the two break all forbidden barriers and finally reunite as a family of three.
