Vesper arrives in the city with his longtime girlfriend Flo, only to become the tenant of wealthy heiress Calista Swift. To escape Kaelen's control, Calista asks Vesper to pose as her boyfriend, and their fake romance gradually becomes real. Meanwhile, Flo betrays Vesper for money and joins Darrien against Calista. Facing workplace abuse, corporate schemes, and family rivalry, Vesper and Calista fight back together and discover whether true love can survive a world ruled by desire and wealth.
