Lin Yuan, founder of Jiangcheng Group, returns to his hometown after reaching the peak of his career and finds his mother Lin Xiulan being bullied badly in her stepfather Chen’s family. He reveals his identity and shocks the Chen family, yet his soft-hearted mother refuses to leave right away. Chen Dayong cheats Lin Xiulan into handing over the official seal and embezzles a large sum of money. Lin Yuan sets a trap to bring the whole Chen family to justice and lets them bear the consequences of their misdeeds. Lin Xiulan finally wakes up. With her son’s support, she opens Xiulan Noodle House, growing from an inferior and timid woman into an independent and resilient female entrepreneurship mentor. Mother and son embrace a warm new life together.
