High school senior Elliot lives under the shadow of his mother's illness and his father's emotional distance. He is reserved and enduring, forced to bear the harsh realities of his broken family on his own, while also facing the relentless gossip and judgment of his schoolmates. That is until the brilliant, wholehearted boy next door, Beckett, storms into his world like a burst of summer sunshine. With warm and unwavering companionship, he slowly shatters the defensive walls Elliot has built around his heart.
