Leon died from overwork in his past life and struck a pact with an angel: if he got fired ninety-nine times within three years, he would earn one billion US dollars. Having completed ninety-eight dismissals, he targets TechCore Group, a Silicon Valley digital marketing firm, for his final termination. Determined to get laid off, Leon deliberately stirs up trouble nonstop after joining the company. Unexpectedly, the firm’s female CEO Scarlett is undercover under the alias Lina to root out internal moles. His reckless attempts to get fired only earn him repeated promotions instead. He seemingly gets his 99th dismissal in Episode 11.
