Little Alan only ever wanted his father Jason's love. But Jason, blinded by obsession with his ex Ruby, always favored her son Ray instead. Broken promises. Harsh words. A childhood of neglect. Finally, Sylvia takes Alan away—where they find unexpected warmth with Alan's kind cello teacher, Mike. When Jason realizes Ruby's betrayal and seeks forgiveness, Alan makes his choice clear: "My family is Mom and Mike now."Can a father's remorse heal wounds this deep? Or is it too late to say "I'm sorry"?
