Wang Yidao, head chef at Kaiyue Hotel, has selflessly dedicated years to the establishment. Abiding by his master’s wish, he only sought to uphold the hotel’s reputation. When he took half a cucumber from the kitchen to avoid waste, the newly appointed store manager deducted 200,000 yuan from his year-end bonus. To make matters worse, he was constantly harassed. The manager Qin Wan abused her power, promoted her own nephew, hired another chef to take Wang Yidao’s place, and tried to replace him. After seeing Qin Wan’s true colors, Wang Yidao stopped making selfless contributions to the hotel. Eventually, Kaiyue Hotel’s reputation plummeted, it received numerous complaints, and Qin Wan was held accountable by the headquarters, reaping what she had sown.
