Chen Zhenzhen, a top lawyer renowned far and wide, was approached by Guo Yan, who asked her to defend Wu Wentao—Guo Yan's contracted entertainer—in the case of his sexually assaulting a female college student. The night before the court hearing, Chen Zhenzhen's daughters, Chun Chun and Xia Xia, were mistaken by Wu Wentao and his associates for taking candid photos. As a result, they were subjected to harassment. When Xia Xia learned that Wu Wentao's defense lawyer was her own mother, she intended to tell her mother about Wu Wentao's crimes. However, Wu Wentao refused to believe that Chen Zhenzhen was Xia Xia's mother; instead, he beat Xia Xia so severely that her life was hanging by a thread.Chen Zhenzhen rushed to the scene, revealed her identity, and saved her daughter. Yet Wu Wentao claimed she was an impostor and continued to harass Chen Zhenzhen and her daughter. On the day of the court hearing, Chen Zhenzhen entered the courtroom with evidence. At that moment, Wu Wentao suddenly realized that the woman he had confronted the previous day was none other than Lawyer Chen Zhenzhen himself.
