On her 18th birthday, a snake claims Anna Evans as its bride. She discovers a curse. Her great-grandpa killed a snake deity, dooming the family. Now her resurrected cousin, the "Snake Mother," controls the snakes for revenge. As truth unfolds, Anna realizes her engagement is far more sinister than a simple human-snake romance.
