Five years ago, Chen Yi watched Lin Wanqing kill her mother in the rain. Her father Chen Jianlin threw her off a cliff for status. She survived and reinvented herself. Before Chen Jianlin could confess, Lin Wanqing murdered him in a sealed chamber. Pretending to be a renowned lawyer, Chen Yi defends Lin Wanqing. Through intimidation and manipulated clues, she extracts the secret: her mother’s corpse lies in Elevator Shaft 7, Zone C. After recovering the bones, she sets off a money-laundering alarm with a huge fund transfer and cooperates with authorities for the arrest. She exposes herself in court. Supported by recordings and human remains, Lin Wanqing receives the death penalty and Zhou Wei is jailed. Chen Yi donates all her billions to find redemption.
