Eighteen-year-old Ohio waitress Elena discovers she is the real heiress swapped at birth. Facing the hypocritical upper class, spoiled fake heiress Victoria and indifferent parents, she turns down privileged handouts. Blessed with outstanding talent in science, she excels academically, wins the ISEF gold medal and earns a full scholarship to Harvard. She strikes back calmly against repeated schemes. Eventually, she builds an education empire and takes over the family business. Rising from a lowly worker to an inspiring leader for underprivileged youths, she proves true heritage lies not in blood, but in unyielding self-will.
