Wang Lei was full of anticipation for his wedding with Huang Siqi, but he was suddenly hit by the tragic news that he had reached the advanced stage of cancer. In order to fulfill his promise to Huang Siqi, he gave up the surgery. However, Huang Siqi demanded that the wedding be changed to her wedding with her childhood sweetheart, Bai Congliang. Heartbroken, Wang Lei agreed and decided to hold his own funeral on the wedding day at the same time. During this period, the actions of Huang Siqi and Bai Congliang constantly hurt Wang Lei. It was not until Wang Lei passed away that Huang Siqi deeply regretted her actions. But the story didn't end there. A year later, Wang Lei made a miraculous recovery and reunited with Huang Siqi in the hospital. At this time, Huang Siqi was diagnosed with health problems, and the ugly true nature of Bai Congliang gradually came to light.
