Evan, an employee at a New York design firm, gets deadly warnings from his mirror reflection. Three rules‑beware of white taxis, return home early, and never move‑come to pass one after another. He suspects his boss Adrian is a serial killer, only to discover during the pursuit that the real killer is Adrian’s twin brother Aiden. With the truth exposed, Evan falls into fresh terror over questions about his own identity. Finally, police verify identities and resolve the confusion, and both men survive the nightmare.
