Cast out of her wealthy marriage after her husband's betrayal, Emma reunites in her darkest hour with Cooper, a discarded spirit hound. Cooper bears a gold coin gifted by the Goddess of Fate, able to sniff out fortune. Together the two rise from bargain-hunting at antique stalls to crushing her ex-husband in the stock market, and with business elite Charles, build a commercial empire. Just as Cooper completes his mission and is about to depart, Emma discovers she carries her ex-husband's child. In the end, Cooper is reborn as her baby, guarding her in a new form as she embarks on a fulfilled new life.
