Chen Fan opened a noodle restaurant with his uncle using his late father’s secret recipe, earning a net profit of 7.2 million yuan. His uncle pocketed 7.02 million and left him merely 180,000. Heartbroken, Chen closed the shop, destroyed the recipe and restarted his business at an ancient southern town, gaining fame with meticulous cooking.Desperate to copy the flavor for profit, the uncle borrowed predatory loans without the core formula, ending up broken, separated from his family and mentally unstable. Later, Chen took Lin Chuan as his apprentice. After mastering the craft, Lin ran an inheritance-focused noodle house in the north. Chen found new family affection and inner peace while passing down the family’s signature noodle art.
