The Last Bouquet.Elena waited eight years for Nathan to commit. At her best friend's wedding, the bouquet lands in her hands—everyone expects a proposal. But Nathan hands it to another woman and says, "Next time." He doesn't know there won't be a next time. Elena's own wedding is days away, to a man who actually shows up. When Nathan finally realizes what he's lost, he tries to reclaim their old life. But the door has closed. Some waits end not with an answer, but with a goodbye.
