City of Desire
Xu Zhiming, a young man who had come to Beijing feeling devastated, moved into the apartment he had previously rented with his girlfriend. When he opened the door, the female landlord was standing there, dressed provocatively, staring at him. Xu Zhiming awkwardly turned his head, but the female landlord seemed unconcerned, even deliberately stepping closer to him. Feeling frustrated, Xu Zhiming just wanted to quickly unpack and settle in. However, the female landlord kept trying to engage him in conversation, her gaze carrying a certain meaning. Xu Zhiming gritted his teeth and tried to respond politely, but the female landlord became more and more forward. Unable to tolerate it any longer, Xu Zhiming finally sternly warned her to respect herself. Only then did the female landlord back off somewhat, allowing Xu Zhiming to find a brief moment of peace in this hustle life.
