Lydia sacrificed a decade to stay by surgeon Ryan as a contractual wife. Just when she finds out she’s pregnant, she catches Ryan preparing a wedding for his pregnant ex-lover. Neglected and hurt by Ryan’s coldness, she files for divorce. A reckless push from Ryan causes her miscarriage. With gentle doctor Henry’s comfort, Lydia abandons Ryan for good, leaving him drowning in endless regret.
