After the death of billionaire tycoon Richard Hawthorne, his second wife is left in charge of Hawthorne Group. But with no children and little support from the board, powerful insiders begin plotting to seize the family fortune. To protect her position, Sophia comes up with a risky plan: find someone to impersonate Richard's long-lost illegitimate son. By pure coincidence, Gavin Hayes, a struggling young man who bears an uncanny resemblance to Richard, arrives at the Hawthorne estate.
