Juliet Sinclair, the daughter of the Prestons, had her identity swapped with Vera Dawson. After her father was involved in a car accident, she had no choice but to become Elliot Carpenter’s secret lover to raise medical expenses. They fell in love at first sight in their youth, but now they each harbor hidden motives. Juliet lives alone in the apartment Elliot arranged, enduring lonely days, while Elliot often comes back late at night. Their relationship is complicated and delicate, full of unspoken tensions.
