Claire has spent her whole life being the spare for her twin sister Chloe and her fiancé Lucas. Her biased parents sacrifice everything she owns to pamper Chloe, while Lucas always puts Chloe`s needs above hers, even stealing her scholarship to fund Chloe`s fancy life in New York.Tired of being treated as a backup plan, Claire turns down Columbia`s offer, cuts off all contact with her toxic family and heartless ex, and moves to California alone.
