When Ariana gets pregnant, Damien wrongly believes he is infertile and rejects her; after a DNA test proves the truth, they plan to run away, but are repeatedly thwarted by their families and rivals. At the engagement banquet, Moretti matriarch Ava reveals Ariana as her long-lost biological daughter and rightful heir, voiding the marriage to Lucas.
