Ethan Hayes finds a huge bluefin tuna school. As the crew prepares for a rich harvest, an undersea earthquake triggers a tsunami warning. He chooses to abandon the catch to save lives, clashing with the investor who insists on fishing. As giant waves close in, Ethan shoulders the burden of life and death, holding the line at sea.
