Liu Runian, the legitimate daughter of the Duke's Mansion, was taken as an adopted sister by General Zhan Yihan after her father and brother died in war. However, Zhan Yihan's fiancée, Ji Qingqing, was jealous and plotted to frame Liu Runian. The mistress of the house, Li Ci, accused Liu Runian of corrupting moral principles, and Zhan Yihan sent her to the military camp for two years. In the camp, Liu Runian was reduced to a military prostitute and endured all kinds of humiliation. Zhan Yihan thought that she refused to repent and paid no attention to her. It was not until Zhan Yihan was about to marry Ji Qingqing that he brought Liu Runian back to the mansion, only to find that she was completely different from before.
